Monday Oct. 31, 2016

First thing today we will be taking notes on CH.3 Section 5.  Today is the last day to turn in late or missing assignments.   The rest of the period students will be reviewing for the test tomorrow.

Thursday October 27, 2016

Today we will first correct yesterday's HW Ch.3 Quiz 3.  We will then take notes on Sec.3.  As a class we will then read pgs. 93-97.  Then class will participate in a Jamestown skit.

Tuesday Oct. 25 2016

First thing today we will be correcting our HW from yesterday.  Then we will take Sec.2 notes helping prepare for the test next Tuesday.  As a class we will read pgs. 81-86 pg. 81-84 .  The HW for today Ch.3 Quiz 3 due tomorrow.  Ch.3 Quiz 3

Monday Oct. 24 2016

First thing today we will be reading pgs. 78-80 as a class.  The rest of the period will be spent working on Les.1 and 2 review.  Students must complete 25 of these questions.  Review Les.1 and 2
Students will also work on Quiz 1 and Quiz 2.  Both these assignments will be due tomorrow.  Ch.3 Quiz 1 and Quiz 2

Wednesday and Thursday Oct. 19 and 20

Students will spend both of these days working on their projects which will be due on Friday.   We will also take a small section of notes. Ch.3 Section 1 Ch.3 Notes 

Spend a small amount of time reading pgs. 74-78.  pg. 74-78

First part of the period students will have a few minutes to finish up there HW from yesterday.  Then we will correct the HW.  The rest of the period students will listen to my explanation of "What Would You Take to Sea" and then work on it.  What Would You Take to Sea

Today first thing we will share our weekends.  Next we will read pgs. 68-72 as a class taking turns reading.  After the reading the rest of the period will be spent working individually on Guided 3.1 and Sec. 1 Wks.  Les. 1 wks.    Guided 3.1

Friday Oct. 14

Today we will finish up our vocab review then turn in our vocabulary Ch.3 and entry task.  The rest of the period will be spent watching the 2nd Presidential Debate.  Students will be completing a Bingo sheet with key words as they watch the debate.

Thursday Oct.13 2016

Today we will watch CNN student news.  This helps keeps students involved in what is going on in the world around them.  Then students will take Ch.3 Pre-test.  Then we are going to play a vocab game.  Just a reminder the vocab for Ch.3 is due tomorrow.

Wednesday Oct. 12, 2016

Today we will be taking Ch.2 test.  Then the rest of the period will be spent working on Ch. 3 Vocab which is due on Friday.  Ch.3 Vocab

Today we spent all period reviewing for our Ch.2 Test on Wednesday.

On Tuesday students will read pgs. 50-54.  Then students will do pgs. 54 1-5, Quiz 2, and Bubble Notes.  All of this will be due on Wednesday.   pgs.50-54   Ch.2 Quiz 3  Bubble Notes


Wednesday Oct. 5

We will watch CNN Students News.  Then we will add to our bubble notes that can be used on the test.  Then students will spend the rest of the period reading pg. 55-60.  pgs. 55-60   Students HW will be Ch.2 Quiz 4 Ch.2 Quiz 4.  Students will also do pg. 60 3-6 complete sentence answers.

Students will be watching the first Presidential Debate!
