Today students will be first reading a short article on the Great Awakening Great Awakening.   Then the rest of the period will be spent reviewing latitude and longitude along with time zones.   All of these papers will be due Friday.   Latitude/Long Packet    Time Zone Wks.  If students finish everything they can spend the rest of the period working on Vocab. Ch.5.

Today is test Ch.4.  After completing their test students will start working on Ch.5 Vocab Ch.5 Vocab which will be due on Friday!

Today we will be correcting our HW from yesterday and then taking notes section 5.  After this we will do a review activity preparing for tomorrows test.

Today first this thing we will be doing is Ch.4 section 4 notes.  We will then be reading pgs. 125-130 pg. 125-130as a class.   The HW for the day is Ch.4 Quiz 5 Ch.4 Quiz 5.   I

Unfortunately Mr. Carlson was not in class this day.  Today students were expected to read pgs. 120-123 pg. 120-123as a class with the guest teacher.  Then the rest of the period they would spend working on their flag or coin from the previous day and Ch.4 Quiz 4 Guided Reading 4.4 Quiz 4 /Guided 4.4.   Both will be due on Friday.

Today students will be turning in their HW from yesterday along with their coin/flag.  We will then take notes on CH.4 section 3.  The rest of the period will be spent watching a sport video on colonial times pre-American Revolution.

Today we will first be correcting yesterdays homework.   We will then be reading pgs. 115-119 pgs. 113-119 as a class.   Then the rest of the class will be spent working on their flag or coin design which will be due on Friday!  Design Coin   Design a Flag

Happy Veterans DAY!  Today we will first correct our HW from yesterday.   We will then take notes on Ch.4 section 2.   Today's assignment will be to create Bubble Notes for pages 113-115.   As students are working on this assignment a I will be sharing Veterans Day Tribute Video Veterans Day Assembly

First thing today we will be talking about the new tardy policy in Mr. Carlson's classroom. We will then take Ch.4 section 1 notes.   After that we will be reading pages 108-112  pg.108-112as a class.   The last part of the period students will be working on Ch.4 Quiz 2 Ch.4 Quiz 2

Today we will be reading pgs 102-107 as class pgs. 102-107.   After we finish reading then we will have the rest of the period to either finish the map or Ch.4 Quiz1 Ch.4 Quiz 1 both are due on Thursday!  

Tuesday November 4, 2014

Today we will turning in our Ch.4 Vocabulary along with the Ch.4 crossword.  Then students will take a quiz over Ch.4 vocabulary.  After the quiz students will be working on Ch.4 Map Ch.4 Map which will be due on Thursday.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Just a reminder this is a four day week because teachers have a work day on Friday.   Today we will be taking Ch.4 Pre-test Ch.4 Pre-Test then we will finish up Ch.4 Vocabulary  Ch.4 Vocabulary which is due tomorrow.  The rest of the period will be spent working Ch.4 Crossword Ch.4 Crossword.   Both are both due tomorrow.  There will be Vocab Quiz tomorrow.
