Today first thing we be correcting our HW from yesterday.   Then we will be taking Ch.7 test.  The rest of the period will be spent working on Ch.8 vocabulary Ch.8 Vocabwhich will be due on Tuesday.   Just a reminder you always have the option to retake the test.  

Thursday January 28th 2015

Today first thing today we will be correcting out HW from yesterday Ch.7.3 guided reading.   Then we will be reading pgs.215-218 pgs. 215-218.   Then we will take notes on Ch.7 Section 3 and 4.   The rest of the period will be spent working on Ch.7 Section 4 Quiz Ch.7 Quiz 4.  Test tomorrow.

Today we will be taking notes on section 1.  Then we will be reading pgs. 206-210 pg.206-211 as a class. The rest of the period will be spent working on the 3/5 Compromise wks 3/5 Compromise Reading and Wks.which is due on Wed.  

Wednesday January 28, 2015

First thing we will be grading the HW from yesterday.   Then we will take Ch.7 section 2 notes.   Then we will be reading pgs.  211-214 pg. 211-214.  The last part of the period we will be spent working on guided reading 7.3 Guided 7.3

Monday 26th, 2015

Today we will be watching a short video on the Articles of Confederation and answering a few questions that go along with.  Then we will read a handout on the Articles of Confederation.  The rest of the period will be spent working Ch.7 Quiz 1 and some questions about the articles.   Unfortunately my ipad has a dead battery so I am unable to scan these documents in.   Both of these assignments will be due tomorrow.

Today we will first be correcting yesterdays HW.   We will then spend some time playing a vocab review game that will help with semester test tomorrow.  The last part of the period we will spend reviewing for the semester test.  

Tuesday Jan. 20 2014

Today we will taking Ch.7 pre-test.   Then students will continue working Ch.7 vocab Vocab. Ch.7
which is due to tomorrow.   Then as class we playing  vocab Ch.7 review game.  Then as class students will read pgs. 200-204 pg. 200-204.   The rest of the period students will be working Ch.7 Guided Reading 7.1 Guided 7.1.   Ch.7 Vocabulary and the Guided Reading 7.1 are due tomorrow.  

Thursday January 15,2015

First thing today we will be reading pgs. 191-195pg.191-195.  Then we will finish watching the movie the Patriot.   Just a reminder that tomorrow will be Ch.6 test.

Today we will begin reviewing for our test on Friday.   Then we will then spend the rest of the period will be spent watching the Patriot.  

Tuesday January 13, 2015

Today we will spend part of the period talking about guerilla warfare tactics the colonies used againist the British in the Revolutionary War.  Then the rest of the period will be spent watching the Patriot.

Today I will be catching up a couple of classes on their notes.   Then the rest of the period will be spent watching the Patriot.

Just reminder that there is a test on Friday.  Also Friday is the last day to turn in late or missing assignments.

Today Mr. Carlson was absent students read pgs. 181-185 pg. 181-185as class.   Then they worked on the American Revolution Crossword and Ch.6 Quiz 3 and the Guided Reading Guided 6.3.   All of it was due on Friday.

Today we will correct the HW.   Then we will take notes on Section 2,3, and 4.   Then the rest of the period will be spent working on Revolution Bingo American Revolution Bingo.   This will be due on Tuesday.
