Thursday October 30, 2014

Today students will be taking Ch.3 Test.   After completing their test students will spend the rest of the period students will be working Ch.4 Vocab Ch.4 Vocab due on Tuesday.  Remember students always have the option to re-take test on their on time.

Wednesday October 29

Today we will spend most of the period reviewing for the test!  The test for Ch.3 is tomorrow.

Monday and Tuesday October 28 and 29, 2014

Monday
Mr.Carlson was gone.   Students were expected to read pgs. 87-91 pg. 87-91as a class.   Then they are expected to do pg. 91 1-5 and answer questions in complete sentences.   When they are finished with that then they are expected to do Wks. Ch.3 Quiz 4 and Vocab Builder Ch. 3 Quiz 4 and Vocab Builder.  All three of these assignments were due on Tuesday.

Tuesday
Today we will first go over pg. 91 1-5 as a class which give students an opportunity to improve their answers.  Then they will turn it in for grade.   We will then correct the Wks. as a class.  Then we will take Ch.3 Section 4 notes.  We will then read pgs. 93-97 pg. 93-97as class.  The HW will be guided reading 3.5 Guided 3.5.  This will be due tomorrow.  On Wednesday we will be reviewing for our test on Thursday.

Today we will be presenting our "What Would You Take to Sea" projects.   All projects must be presented today.  The last ten minutes of class will be spent reading pgs. 81-84.

Tuesday October 21, 2014

Today we will continue our work on the "What Would You Take to Sea" project.  It will be due at the start of the class on Wednesday.   We will then start presenting them to the class.

Monday 20, 2014

Today will be taking Ch.3 Section 2 notes.  Then we will spend the rest of the period working on our group projects "What Would You Take to Sea".  That will be due on Wednesday.

Today students will be turning in their wks. Les. 1 and 2 from yesterday along with their weeks entry task.   Then I will explain the project we will be working on until next Wednesday.   "What Would You Take to Sea" What Would You Take to Sea

Thursday October 16, 2014

Today students must turn in their maps that they started on Tuesday.   Then we will be reading pgs. 78-80 as class.   We will then read about smallpox as class then students will complete a short wks. on smallpox Smallpox Reading and wks..   The rest of the class period will be spent work a review of lesson 1 and 2 Lesson 1 and 2 Review Wks..  This will be due on Friday!

Tuesday and Wednesday October 14 and 15

Tuesday Oct. 14
Today we will be checking our Ch.3 Vocabulary then we will be taking a vocab quiz Vocab Quiz Ch.3.  After completing the vocab quiz students will be working on the pg. 68 Guided Reading 3.1 Guided 3.1.  If students finish that they can start their Map of Explorers Map of Explorers due on Thursday.

Wednesday
Today we will be correcting Ch.3 Guided Reading Section 1.   Then we will read pgs. 74-78 pg. 74-78as a class.  The rest of the period will be spent working on the map.  Which is due on Thursday!

Monday October 13, 2014

Today we will first be taking Ch.3 Pre-Test.  Then we will read pgs. 68-72 pgs. 68-72 as a class.  Then the rest of the period will be spent working on Ch.3 vocabulary which is due tomorrow. There will also be a vocab quiz tomorrow.

Friday October 10, 2014

Today students will be turning in their entry task for the week.  Then students will be taking Ch.2 Test.  After completing the test students will have the rest of the period to working on Ch.3 Vocabulary Ch.3 Vocabulary due on Tuesday.  

Thursday October 9

Today we will be going outside to play some different Native American games.   Just a reminder a there is test tomorrow.

Tuesday and Wednesday October 7 and 8

On Tuesday we first checked our homework from Monday.  Then as a class we pgs. 55-60 pg. 55-60.  The homework for the days Ch.2 Quiz 3 Ch.2 Quiz 3 and Quiz 4.

Wednesday
Today we  corrected the HW from yesterday then spent the rest of the period reviewing for the test on Friday.   Please study on your own at home.

Monday October 6, 2014

Today we will be taking section 1 and 2 notes.   Then we will be reading pgs. 50-54 pg. 50-54.  Then the students will take student notes on this section Example Student Notes.

Wednesday October 1

Today we will continue working on our projects.   These projects will be due on Thursday.   You may not turn this assignment in late.   What you have done tomorrow will be what is graded.  Please finish your projects at home if your not finished.
