First thing today we will turn in our entry task.  Just a reminder you get a point for writing the question along with the answer.  Each days entry task is worth 6 points.  After completing that we will grade yesterdays HW Ch.3 Section 5 wks.  Then we will watch CNN students news and discuss it as a class.   The rest of the period will be spent taking notes on Ch.3 Section 5.  Test will be on TUESDAY!!!!

First thing today we will be watching CNN student news.   Then we will read pgs. 93-97 pg. 93-97 as class.   The rest of the period will be spent working Guided 3.5 front and back.  Most students finished in class.   Guided 3.5 Front and Back

First thing we will be correcting the HW.    Then we take notes on Sec. 3 and Sec.4.   Then rest of the period we will be taking a quiz over section 3 and 4.

Monday Oct. 26 2015

Today I am not at school.  First thing students will read pgs. 81-86 pg. 81-87 as a class.   Then the rest of the period will be spent working on Wks. Les. 1 and Les. 2 Les. 1 and Les. 2.   Students will also work on Quiz 3.  This will all be due on Tuesday.  Ch.3 Quiz 3

First thing today we will be handing in this weeks entry task.  Then the rest of the period will be spent watching a video on Jamestown.

Today first thing we will be turning our HW from last night.   Then we will be reading pgs. 74-80 pgs. 74-80.  Then we will take notes on Ch.3 Sec.2 and the rest of the period will be spent doing a kahoot.

First thing today students will be turning in their Explorer's Map and then as a class we will grade the Guided 3.1 Wks.   After this we will notes on Ch.3 Section 1 Ch.3 Notes.  Then the rest of the period will be spent working on a Review Les. 1 WKS. Review CH.3 Les. 1 due tomorrow.

First thing today we will be reading pgs. 68-72 pgs. 68-72 as a class.  Then we will spend the rest of the period working on the guided reading 3.1 which will be due tomorrow.  Guided 3.1.   Don't forget your explorers map is also due tomorrow.

Today first thing we will be correcting Ch.3 Vocabulary.   Ch.3 Vocab.  Then we will taking a vocab quiz on a website called Kahoot.it.  After this we will be taking Ch.3 pretest .  Then we will be working on our Explorers Map Explorer Map

Today we will be watching a video The History of US Mankind a New World.  There will be a set of questions that go along with this this.

Today we will be taking Ch.2 test.  Just a reminder that if you do poorly on the test you can retake the test on your own time.  Once students are finished with their test they will begin working on Ch.3 Vocab Ch.3 Vocab which will be due on Friday.  On Friday there will also be a vocabulary quiz.

Today Mr. Carlson is out of the building setting up for a cross country meet.   But the students will be reading pgs. 42-48 as a class.  Then they will be working Ch.2 Quiz 2 and pg. 48 1-6.

Monday October 5, 2015

Today we will be taking notes on Ch.2 section 1 Ch.2 Notes.  Then we will spend the rest of the period finishing up our Native American projects which will be due on Wednesday.  Today will be the last in class time we will have to finish it.
