Today we have shortened schedule because of our after activity.   We will spend the entire period working finishing up our 4 Square Project which is due the moment we come back from break.  I hope everyone has a wonderful break.   See ya next year!

Thursday December 18 2014

Today students will be watching a video called, "You Say You Want Revoultion".  Just a reminder the 4 square project will be due tomorrow.  

Wednesday 12/17/14

Today we will first be taking Ch.6 Pre-test.  Then we will grade it.  After we do this we will spend the rest of the period working on our 4 Square Project which will be Friday.  As students are working on this I will go around and check students vocabulary.   Ch.6 Pre-test and Answers

Tuesday December 16, 2014

Today first thing we will talk about a couple of the Vocab words that were difficult to find in the books.  Then we will finish the video "Taking Liberties".  Then the rest of the period will be spent working on our 4 Square Project.   I will include the rubric and a couple of examples.   4 Square Project.  4 Square Examples

Monday December 15, 2014

Today first thing students will be working on Ch.6 vocabulary which will be due on Wednesday.   During this time I will also give students their results from Ch.5 test that they took on Friday.  The last 25 minutes of class will be spent watching a video called "Taking Liberties".  Reminder if students are not happy with test grades students can retake the test on their on time.

Thursday and Friday December 11 and 12 2014

Thursday

Today we are going to take notes on Section 3.  Then we will spend the rest of the period reviewing for the test on Friday.

Friday
I will be absent today due to a school function.  Students will be turning in their entry task.  Then they will be taking Ch.5 Test.  The rest of the period will be spent working on Ch.6 Vocab Ch.6 which will be due on  Tuesday.

Wednesday 10,2014

Today we took notes on Ch. 5 section 2.  Then we  finished reading the rest of section 3 pgs. 158-160 pg. 155-160.   After we finish the reading we will then watch a short animation on Paul Reveres Ride.   Don't forget we will have a test on Friday.

Tuesday December 9, 2014

First thing today we will be reading pgs. 155-158 as a class.  Then we will be reading a short skit on the Boston Tea Party.  Then the last 20 minutes of class will be spent watching a short cartoon on the Boston Tea Party.  Boston Tea Party

Today we will be turning in homework from last week (entry task, Boston Massacre, and Turmoil Over Taxation.)  The rest of the period we will be watching a video called "Rebels With a Cause"

Thursday December 4, 2014

Today will be turning in the HW from yesterday Pontiac's War Wks.  Then we will be reading pgs. 150-153 as a class.   Then we will be reading a skit title Boston Massacre Boston Mass Skit.  After the skit the rest of the period will be spent working Turmoil in the Colonies and the Boston Mass. Wks. Boston Mass. Wks. both are due on Friday.  

Wednesday December 3, 2014

First thing we will be doing is correcting the HW from yesterday.  We will then read pgs. 146-150 Pg. 146-153 as a class.   After reading students will then work on wks. called Pontiac's War Pontiac's War which will be on Thursday.  If they have any time they will begin the wks. Turmoil Wks. Turmoil Section 2 Wks. that will be due on Friday.

Monday December 1
Sorry I didnt post yesterday.  I left my IPAD at home and was not able to scan documents onto my web page.   On this day the first thing we did was take Ch.5 pretest.   After that we read from the text book pgs. 140-142 Pg. 140-145.   Then the rest of the period students will design a crossword using Ch.5 vocabulary.   Crossword

Tuesday December 2
Today first thing we do is correct the HW from yesterday which was the crossword.   We will then read a hand-out on the French and Indian War French and Indian War.   After this we will take notes on Ch.5 section 1.  Then the rest of the period will be spent working on guided reading wks along with the Treaty of Paris Wks.  Guided 5.1 and Treaty of Paris Wks.
