Today students will be taking Ch.10 test.  Then students will have the rest of the period to work on their War of 1812 maps.   Which are due today.

Monday March 23, 2015

Today student will be working on their maps that will be due tomorrow.   Then students will be watching short video on the War of 1812.  Students must answer these questions that go with video.  Crash Course War of 1812

Thursday and Friday March 19 and 20

Thursday
On Thursday students will be covering Ch.10 Section 4.  Ch.10 Section 4 Notes.  Then students will be working on Guided Reading 10.4 Guided Reading 10.4 which was due on Friday.

Friday
On Friday students will be working covering Ch.10 Sec. 5.  Ch.10 Sec. 5 Notes.  Then students will be introduced to the War of 1812 map Map War of 1812.  But they will have more time to work on it on Monday and will be due on Tuesday.

Wednesday March 18, 2015

Today we will be spending the first part of working on the HW from yesterday which will be due tomorrow instead of today.  The students will have a discussion on the Lewis and Clark journey Lewis and Clark Journey Les.3 Notes.   The rest of the period will be spent working on a map of the Lewis and Clark journey.   Lewis and Clark Journey Map

Tuesday March 17

Today first thing students will be turning in their maps of the Louisiana Purchase they started yesterday.   Then students will be taking a short section of notes on the Lewis and Clark Expedition Notes and Lewis and Clark.  The rest of the period will be spent working on the Lewis and Clark Project.   Lewis and Clark Project

Monday March 16

Today we will be working with the LA purchase.   First thing we are going to have a short discussion on the Louisiana Purchase along with some notes.   Ch.10 Sec.2 Notes.  After taking notes on this they will then be working on map which will be due on Tuesday.  LA Purchase Map

Tuesday March 10, 2015

I am sorry my blog was not updated last week I was coaching at the State Basketball Tournament.  Today is Monday and on Friday students were assigned Ch.10 Vocab Ch.10 Vocab  after they took Ch.9 test.   There many students gone on Friday so today is make-up day for students who missed the test or have work to catch up on.   The vocab will be due on Tuesday!
