Students will be working in small groups researching a specific Native American tribe/cultural area.  There goal is to have 20 note cards of info.

We be joining Mr.Vasquez class to do trading and bartering with the note cards students have created.   Native American Project

Today our Native American Maps are due today.  Next we will be taking notes on Ch.2 Section 1.   Ch.2 Notes  Then we will read pgs. 42-48 as class.  The rest of the period will be spent working on today's HW Ch.2  Quiz 2 pgs. 42-48 Ch.2 Quiz 2

Friday September 23, 2016

First of all reminder that all students need note cards by next Tuesday.   First thing today students will get a few minutes to work on their Native American Map which is due on Monday.  The rest of the period we will spend watch a video on the United States.

Tuesday September 20, 2016

Today we will be taking Ch.1 test.  After the test students will be working on Ch.2 Vocabulary which is due Thursday.  Ch.2 Vocab

Monday September 20, 2016

Today first part of the period we will take notes on Section 3 and Section 4.  The rest of the period will be spent reviewing for the Ch.1 Test tomorrow.

First thing today I would like to wish everyone a happy Constitution Day!  Today we will watch a short clip from school house rock in our observation of Constitution Day and then we will look at it much closer in January.  The rest of the period students will be taking their pre-test for their semester test.   Students will be turning in their entry task, regions map, pg. 30 1-4, and Quiz 2 and Quiz 4.  Have a great weekend...

Tuesday September 13, 2016

First thing today students will have 10 minutes to finish up their HW from yesterday.  We will then correct it as a class.  Students will then take a quiz on the oceans and continents.   Then as a class we will read pgs. 11-14 on the physical regions of the US.  pgs. 11-14  The rest of the period will be spent working on their Physical Regions map which will be due on Friday.  Physical Regions

First thing today we will be taking Ch.1 Pre-test.   Ch.1 Pre-test  After this as a class we will be reading pgs. 20-22.  pgs. 20-25.  Then students will be begin working on their world maps which will be due on Monday.  World Map.  While students are working on their maps I will grade their vocabulary.
