First thing today we will be correcting HW from yesterday. Then we will be taking Ch.2 Pre-test.  Then we will spend the rest of the period working on the Native American Map  which will be due on Thursday. NA Map

Students took a pre-test for their semester test and it took most of the period.

Today as a class we will be reading pgs. 36-41pg. 36-41 .  Then students will spend the rest of the period working on Ch.2 Quiz 1 wks.  and Vocab Buidler Ch.2 Quiz 1 and Vocab Builder.

Thursday September 24, 2015

Today students will first take a follow directions test Follow Directions.  After this students will work on a latitude and longitude wks.  Lat/Long Wks. which will be due tomorrow along with their vocabulary.

Wednesday September 23, 2015

Today students will be taking Chapter 1 Test.   After students complete their test they will then begin working Ch.2 Vocab. Ch.2 Vocab which will be due on Friday.

Tuesday September 22

Today first thing we will be correcting yesterdays HW Ch.1 Quiz 3 and Quiz 4.  We then be taking notes on Ch.1 Section 4.  The rest of the period we will be reviewing for the test tomorrow.  Be sure to bring your notes to class tomorrow.

Today first thing we will be taking notes on Ch.1 Section 3.  After completing the notes students will be expected to read pgs. 26-30 pg. 26-30 silently by themselves.  After they are finished reading I will give them their HW Ch.1 Quiz 3 and Quiz 4.  Ch.1 Quiz 3   Ch.1 Quiz 4

Friday September 18, 2015

First thing today students will be handing in their Regions Map along with their weekly entry task.   After we have completed that we will grade the Constitution Bingo they received yesterday.  We read pgs. 20-25 in the book as a class pgs. 20-25.

The last part of the class we will talk about currents events and watch CNN student news.

Happy Constitution Day!  First thing today students will be working on a Constitution Bingo Constituion Bingo assignment to celebrate the day (pgs. 222-245).   After completing the bingo students should begin working on their physical regions map that is due on Friday.

First thing today we will be correcting the HW from last night.  CH.1 Quiz 1 and Quiz 2.  After that we will be taking notes for Ch.1 Section 2 Ch.1 Power Point Notes.   After completing notes students will be assigned the Regions Map which will be due on Friday.  Physical Regions Map

First of all I hope to see all of you at open house at 6:00.

First thing today all students must turn in their world maps that we have been working on since last week.  Just reminder their will be a quiz this week over the oceans and continents.   Next thing we will be doing is taking Ch.1 Pre-test.  CH.1 Pre-test.

After the Pre-test we will take our first section of notes Ch.1 Section 1.  Ch.1 Notes

We will then read pgs. 11-17 as a class.  pgs. 11-14   pgs. 14-17.  The last part of class students will be working on their HW CH.1 Quiz 1 and Quiz 2.   Ch.1 Quiz 1      Ch.1 Quiz 2

First thing we had a small discussion on primary sources and secondary sources and how they pertain to history.   Then we watched a video of primary sources on the falling of the World Trade Centers 14 years prior.

First thing today we will be taking a vocab quiz over Ch.1 Vocab words.   Then we will read Ch.1 section 1 from the book 4-7 pgs. 4-7.   After completing the reading students will then spend the rest of the period working on their world maps which is due on Thursday.    

Don't forget open house on Tuesday night 6:00!

Today students will have time to finish their vocab which will be due on Friday!   The rest of the period students will be working on their World Maps which will be due on Monday.  World Map

Today we are getting right after it.  Most teachers go over procedures and rules the first but we are starting right off with Ch.1 Vocab Ch.1 Vocab 2015 which will be due Thursday.  Then on the second day of school we will going over rules and procedures.
